Happy mail is in the house!!! I’ve received my contributor’s copies of Botanica, the latest publication by Uppercase Magazine in their Encyclopedia of Inspiration series and wow, it sure doesn’t disappoint!
It’s 448 pages of artists and craftspeople and what they make inspired by botanicals. I’m one of the 78(!) artists and makers and am honored to have not only my floral paintings and thoughts included, but to have a bookmark made from one of my paintings included in each order that goes out. Super cool!
Isn’t the cover gorgeous?
It’s actually a dust jacket that unfolds like a poster so you get the four options for dust jackets in one.
If you remove the dust jacket, the cover is still gorgeous:
I’m one of the included artists that paints florals, but there are also florists, paper florists, flower growers, flower arrangers, surface designers and on and on it goes. Very inspiring and pretty.
If you want to have a copy of your own you can order here. Personally, I’d recommend the boxed set which includes the Stitch*Illo and Feed Sacks issues of the Uppercase Encyclopedia of Inspiration, that’s what I purchased when Stitch*Illo first came out.
(I’m not an affiliate of Uppercase, just a very happy contributor and customer!)
Just had to share the Botanica love! XoP
