It's the second day of weather registering less than in the high 80's here...do
I dare assume the longest summer weather ever here has finally ended? Or is it going to be hot again this weekend?
This year it seems I'm seeing a lot of surrendering to what is showing up as the incorporation of succulents in conjunction with fall decor. I'm all for it! As a matter of fact, I'm participating in a Fall event in Huntington Beach where we'll be demonstrating succulents tied into Fall table-scapes and also a food tasting and chef demo by Eureka restaurant's culinary director. It's free to attend so if you're in the area, come join us! And if you happen to read this blog and attend, be sure to introduce yourself please!
Here's all the info:

Yesterday I ran around trying to find some more fairy tale pumpkins and every single pumpkin patch had been cleaned out! Luckily some groceries stores still had some and the gourds and squashes out are just as pretty. At the same time, I couldn't resist the flowers for my floral online course that is getting closer and closer to release! (The current plan -always subject to change- early registration in December, and class launch in January!!! Won't know price until class is fully developed, sorry!)
I've LOVED having extra permission to buy myself flowers ( "I need them for the class I'm creating!") and I hope that students will extend the same permission to themselves ;). Who doesn't love having fresh flowers in the house?!?
More gathering of supplies for the demonstration mentioned above. It's November 15th, 2-4pm in Huntington Beach (so you don't have to click on that link just to rule it in or out).
Not typically what we are used to used to seeing for Fall, we're going to change that!
You know I'm always up to at least a few creative things, I assume you are too. Do share if you're so inclined, we creatives always love to know (and cheer on!) whatever you've got in the works. Have a good one! Xo
