I'm sitting in my car waiting for my son's third baseball game of the week to start. Wishing I were home doing something like the above. I never realized how much mothering big kids would interrupt my Big Ideas and best laid plans. Of course, I wouldn't change it, it's just a constant learning curve to be flexible and adapt. Also, that I have to pick my battles since I really can't do it all. Somehow, the blog found itself on the Not Top Priority list of to-dos. Boo.
And the more I want to catch up on sharing, the more intimidating starting back gets.
But hey, if this blogging from my phone thing works, the love story of my blog + me might have a honeymoon phase all over again. ;)
The other day, I did a whole post while waiting, only to discover when I hit publish that the Typepad app I was using doesn't even exist anymore. Wha? A "help me" text to the sisters Moss/Mulvenon ended me here, at the email method, we'll see how I do! Do any of you blog from your devices? Have any helpful how to's to share?
I have to laugh at these quick portraits I did in my daily painting book the other night. Even they look a bit shell shocked and weary.
People are not my usual, but after seeing Courtney Cerruti's (I'll add a link when next at a computer) lovely Single Ladies series I was inspired to try. I made blobs of watercolor on my paper and then, after they were dry, tried to find faces in them. It was a very fun experiment.
Ok, games about to start...can't wait to return home in a few hours and see how this post looks from the back end.
Hope you have had a good April so far; there surely must be signs of spring for those of you that have endured such a relentless winter??? Hope so!
I've got my parka on, for real. It does get cold in SoCal, I swear! Currently 63* and weather app says it's heading to 55*. I guess it's all relative, or we Southern Californians are wimps (like my Michigan relatives claim) ;)
