I started making my own stamps the other day, playing around with the intention of stamping on the inside of my December binder. It was inspried by seeing this instagram by Elsie. Triangles are not a go to shape for me usually. It was fun to be inspired and go with it.
I also saw that Julie Balzer is doing a #CarveDecember project where she's carving a new stamp every day in December. Fun.
As the photo above shows, I had a jolly good time experimenting with patterns and color. ;) Yes indeed.
I liked the look of the stamps with acrylics vs. stamp pads. Just looking at these photos brings on so many more ideas I want to try. Tomrrow I'll post the inside of my December binder. I actually didn't use a triangle after all that! I'm looking forward to cutting some of these up and using for who knows what...project life cards, art journal fodder etc....
And I'm very happy that it's Friday night...this weekend will include some creative time for sure. Hope yours is off to a good start!
