Hello, and happy Monday! Took a little time to play in my art journal late last night, and was clearly thinking of the new week that was about to start. I like the hope for the week that Monday brings with it. Maybe this week is the week I'll find all that extra time and wrap everything up, haha. Monday's usually feel like that anyway, a time to re-boot.
Here are a few other journal pages as well:
Black. That's different for me. I did the page writing and coloring in first, then carefully painted black ink all around it. It was a fun, slow exercise one night.
Yowza! This spread is a hot mess. It happens. Maybe I'll "fix" these pages, maybe I won't. Time will tell.
Even hot mess pages have elements I find pleasing. Looking at this photo here, I'm wanting to go make those blue spots into whales.
Testing out new stamp pads from Studio Calico. Love the creative names, and am quite happy with the ink as well.
Can't wait to spend time coloring this one in...not sure if I'll use pens or paints...maybe both.
