I started this earlier today, and now it's Friday night...seriously, Thursday and Friday were a blur... some of their activities included:
1. a stop at JoAnn's Fabrics in search of Methocel thanks to this pin. I didn't find the Methocel, but I did find some cute fabric on sale...what is wrong with me you ask? why would I buy fabric when I have so many unfinished sewing projects? I have no good excuse, not even the sale price or the extra 40% off coupons justify it, not even going to pretend I have an acceptable reason.
They are pretty though, aren't they? Very fall feeling...
2. I also could not resist the black and white knit that was on big mark down. Going to make my daughter an infinity scarf.
3. Mixing some Carrageenan size for a different marbling project...
4. Amy and I found some old marble paper covered books that we bought for students in our Adventures in Italy class...
5. We also stopped at Ikea, and last night I took to cutting the storage boxes I bought down so they weren't quite as tall. Not sure that was the best use of time that is in short supply...
6. doodling a love note for a friend on a on a paint palette paper, probably because:
7. this fun book by Jenny just arrived
Jenny's starting a doodler's bookclub too, that sounds fun.
8. seriously, look how cute the very first page of artists' submissions is (by Cori Dantini, one of 18 contributors)...
and now, now that Friday is almost over:
9. I'm going to chill out with my boys and stitch while they continue their shenanigans.
10. might start by taking out that red stitching that I chose late one night. Not sure if I like the shock of color...nah, I'll wait till later to decide that, time to stitch on...
Ahhhh...it's Friday night, we made it to the weekend...have a good one!
