Determined to make progress!
The truth is, I had almost completed these two spreads before my whirlwind July happened.
First there's living them, then documenting them, then sharing them on the blog, all different stages of course ;).
This was way back in May, May 20-26 to be exact.
It was a a good week for us. My son's Spanish class took a field trip to Olvera Street, and I was talked into chaperoning by a good friend- so thankful I listened to her, it was a good day for my guy and me.
I mostly used shots from that day and a few from home, plus some sent from my daughter at school to round out the week. Luckily, the camera uploads and keeps the photos in date order in iphoto, so I can remember what the heck I took pics of back then.
Still mostly relying on either cards I made, was handed down, or things in either the Studio Calico Project Life kit or the Kelly Purkey Project Life kit. I also use lots of scrap from the packaging of these items, like the Hello talk bubble and the heart around my son- both just cut from the package. Me and my scraps, don't think I'll ever change as far as that goes, just can't stand to waste anything!
