first day of the new year

Here's to 2013!!!

2013 doodles

I did a little doodling in the car as we were heading to the beach. I am very excited for 2013. I feel like most everyone is, which makes it all the more fun.

We went to one of our favorite beaches, Crystal Cove, and it was a beautiful day.

Loved that the Heron wasn't the least bit perturbed by humans. Good perspective for New Years Day, I suppose he was focusing on the year ahead, haha.
