So, I'm back. It's nice to be home. I love being home. I want to write about the trip and my classes and post photos of what I made etc. but I am wiped out. It will have to wait.
As I begin to unpack today, I thought it'd be a good moment to say hi and show you the fun things I found on the way. Amy and I both share a love for antique shops and treasures waiting to be found. Since we were driving we took a few hours to shop...you know, just trying to break up the trip-ha ha. Look at all the yummy things I found. They include:
a marble topped coffee table for the family room (much needed)
a matching end table (since it was cheap and it matched-also because I have a thing for little tables)
an old French laundry basket
an ironstone dish
an old dresser/vanity box
vintage seam binding packs
new hand soap for the kitchen
a new wire basket
some reproduction egg prints
some new twine
old velvet scraps
a rhinestone shoe clip
old lace
new paper labels from Addison endpapers
glitter from Addison endpapers
old circus cigarette cards
old porcelain letters
vintage ledger
tattered old bullion tassels
paper ribbon
blue cigar box
a sweet old book
and an old Victorian box
good things, eh?
and yes, I kept the T.J. Max pillow as you can see on the couch in the background.
