look who flew south for the winter

I am so happy to be one of the lucky ones to have received one of Alicia's handmade birdies as a gift (!) in the mail. This is how it was wrapped...so cute, such attention to detail...love it.  Love the seam binding, love the tags, the millinery flower, the deli string (I don't know what that stuff is officially called), the pink crinkle etc...The card was written in a beautiful tiny script that looked so perfect it almost seemed printed.  Then there's the birdie itself.  Ah....so sweet. You can see where she has made her nest now.  Thank you Alicia, the oh-so-talented, always inventive, beautiful writer and generous soul, I love her!
